EXPERIENCE

Over the years he has provided authoritative and commercially minded advice and representation to myriad clients, ranging from magic circle firms to small high street practices, whilst remaining approachable and retaining his sense of humour. Most recent cases of note include appearing on behalf of The Government of Mauritius before the Privy Council in relation to the judicial review of the granting of Pharmacy licences; representing a magic circle law firm in an unfair dismissal claim involving abuse of email policy through the circulation of pornography; representing the director of a plc in an unfair dismissal claim involving serious allegations of illegal share dealing and undue influence by major south London Crime family; advising and representing an international chain of noodle restaurants upon the consequences of the Working Time Regulations as regards ‘tronc’ allocations; advising an international model agency in injunctive proceedings alleging passing-off and advising and conducting a mass redundancy exercise for a major national construction company. For some years he represented an international casino operator in numerous employment and health and safety cases e.g. London Clubs Management Ltd v Hood [2001] IRLR 719.

He has particular expertise in cases involving medical and technical evidence.

Forsbrey v Prada [The Times 17th October 2003] (representing the fashion house in an unfair dismissal claim brought by a former tailor who was threatening to expose intimate secrets about famous clients)
