Samuel joined Chambers in October 2018 following the successful completion of his pupillage. He is developing a busy and varied practice across the full spectrum of work undertaken by Chambers.



Samuel is frequently instructed in both Magistrates’ and Crown Court trials. He regularly appears in a wide range of criminal matters, from violence and sexual offences to the supply of controlled drugs and fraud. Samuel has a particular interest and experience in defending motoring cases, whether privately instructed in the Magistrates’ Court, or on appeal to the Crown Court.


Personal injury and general civil

Samuel receives instructions in personal injury cases on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants. He often acts in claims arising out of road traffic accidents, as well as those arising in other contexts, including employers and occupiers liability. He has further acted for Claimants and Defendants in contractual disputes. He also accepts instructions to provide written advices and to settle pleadings and schedules of losses.



Samuel accepts instructions in all private and public law children matters and financial remedy proceedings. He regularly acts in applications for Child Arrangement Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders. Samuel also has experience of leave to remove and international relocation cases.



Samuel welcomes instructions in a wide range of property disputes, from landlord and tenant to real property law. He has a particular interest in advising and representing tenants defending possession claims.


Public law and human rights

Samuel accepts instructions in all areas of public law and human rights. He also accepts instructions through the Attorney General’s “Junior Junior” panel.
