EXPERIENCE

Nathalie has a broad common law practice and accepts instructions in all the main areas of Chambers’ practice. Nathalie is particularly interested in all aspects of family law and personal injury law.

Family

Children

Nathalie is regularly instructed in private and public law Children Act cases at all stages of proceedings. In public law cases she has represented parents, grandparents and the local authority. She also has experience of international child abduction cases.

Domestic Violence

Nathalie undertakes Family Law Act injunction and fact-finding work in cases involving domestic violence and harassment.

Ancillary Relief

Nathalie has experience of FDA and FDR hearings in ancillary relief claims. Nathalie is keen to continue to expand her practice in this area.

Personal Injury

Nathalie regularly advises on quantum following RTAs. She has represented claimants in disputed personal injury claims where there have been allegations of fraud. She is regularly instructed in disposal and infant settlement approval hearings.

General Civil Work

Nathalie undertakes work in a broad range of civil law areas, including contractual disputes and property law.
Nathalie has represented claimants in commercial contractual disputes in small claims and fast track trials.

Nathalie has experience of possession claims, applications for charging orders and has appeared for the tenant in commercial lease disputes. Nathalie is keen to continue to expand her practice in property work.

Crime

Nathalie is regularly instructed to represent defendants in the Crown Court for all types of hearings. Nathalie has experience of representing defendants in multi-handed trials including ABH and theft. Nathalie takes a particular interest in fraud.

Nathalie has experience prosecuting for the Probation Service, DVLA, Department for Work and Pensions and CPS.

Regulatory

Nathalie has represented taxi drivers in appeals against revocation of taxi driver licenses and operator’s licenses in the Magistrates and Crown Courts.
