Employment - all areas of employment, including unfair and wrongful dismissal, sex, race and disability discrimination, redundancy, transfer of undertakings and restrictive covenants. Aside from litigation, practice includes contractual drafting as well as advising in relation to problem areas for employers.
Contract - all forms of contractual disputes, with emphasis on agency (especially in relation to secret commissions), validity (or lack thereof) of unfair terms (especially in relation to the UK non-status mortgage market and, more generally, consumer agreements.
Financial services work ranges from insolvency and debt collection through to banking and stockbroking matters.
Tort - includes personal injury (with a particular emphasis on the developing field of civil compensation for sex and physical abuse), trespass to the person and professional negligence.
