EXPERIENCE

Caroline predominately defends but is regularly instructed to prosecute for the Crown Prosecution Service having worked at CPS Casework Directorate before being called to the Bar.

  

She has extensive experience defending across a broad spectrum of serious offences including most forms of conspiracy; kidnap, fraud and drugs cases with an organised crime background; all forms of violent and sexual offences, including historic allegations; and contested confiscation proceedings.   

 

Caroline has particular skill in the handling of vulnerable defendants and witnesses including those with mental health issues and has a wealth of trial experience dealing with child witnesses and those otherwise at risk.
