EXPERIENCE

Ben Walker-Nolan has wide experience of criminal advocacy and has appeared as junior counsel in a number of cases, including complex commercial frauds against the Home Office (Immigration and Nationality Department) and Ministry of Defence and a number of cases involving large scale drug importations. He has also appeared in his own right in numerous cases in the Crown Court, in cases at Courts Martial and before the Parole Board. In addition he has advocacy experience before the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). He is currently instructed as junior counsel in the one of the first prosecutions under the Terrorism Act 2006.

 

He has experience of extradition proceedings and has advised on and conducted Proceeds of Crime Act litigation, including civil cash forfeiture.

 

He has experience of drafting, advising and appearing before the County Court in general civil matters and in particular in the field of Landlord and Tenant.

 

He has had experience of representing high profile clients having appeared for Pete Burns (Celebrity Big Brother) on harassment charges.
