PUBLIC & HUMAN RIGHTS

We offer our clients considerable expertise in administrative and constitutional law. Members regularly advise, draft proceedings and act in judicial review proceedings.

Members of Chambers are regularly instructed in a broad range of high profile cases. They are particularly accustomed to dealing with human rights issues. They are regularly instructed to appear for the Government of Mauritius before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.

Members have been involved in judicial review cases arising in a wide variety of circumstances including social security, immigration,  prison law, local government and the recovery of the proceeds of crime.

Individual members of chambers undertake work at all levels from first instance administrative tribunals to the Appeal Committee of the House of Lords.
