Our personal injury work is undertaken both for Claimants and for Defendants and ranges from the most minor road traffic accident to cases of catastrophic injury leading to lifelong nursing care and the involvement of the Court of Protection. We also undertake fatal accident cases and claims before the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority. Members of Chambers also have expertise in credit hire matters.

Junior members of chambers regularly appear in the county courts instructed in small claims and fast track trials and in relation to case management issues and applications in multi-track cases. 

We are often involved with accidents that have taken place abroad and the legal issues that arise out of such cases. French, German and Spanish are spoken fluently.

We have particular experience in the area of industrial disease, including occupational asthma, asbestos related claims, chemical sensitisation, noise deafness, manual handling and accidents on construction sites. Many of these cases are undertaken on behalf of trade unions. Members of chambers regularly advise and act in professional negligence cases concerning a wide spectrum of professions. Certain members of chambers have expertise dealing with complex clinical negligence cases, in particular orthopedic injuries and birth injuries.

We conduct seminars and presentations for and with professional clients on topics of mutual interest in these areas.
