Faisal Saifee has a broad common law practice. His practice comprises a range of civil and criminal work. He  is regularly instructed in fast track and multi track trials. Faisal acts in a range of residential and commercial property cases and has recently been involved in a number of injunctive relief cases. Faisal advises and acts at all stages of employment cases. He is regularly involved at all stages of personal injury work.

• Larranaga v Philippines CCPR/C/87/D/1421/2005 (UNHRC, Sept 06, sole counsel), which was a crucial step to the abolition of the death penalty in the Philippines;

• Boolell v Mauritius [2006] UKPC 46 (led by Geoffrey Cox QC) concerning the right to trial within a reasonable time;

• DPP of Mauritius v Hurnam [2007] UKPC 24 [2007] 1 WLR 1582 (led by Geoffrey Cox QC) regarding the law of conspiracy in Mauritius;

• Orr v Norway (ECHR, 15 May 2008, sole counsel instructed by Fair Trials International) violation of the presumption of innocence in compensation proceedings;

• R v Zafar and others [2008] EWCA Crim 184, [2008] QB 810 (led by David Gottlieb) regarding the freedom of conscience;

• AT and others v Dulghieru and another [2009] EWHC (QB) 225 (sole counsel) damages for victims of people trafficking.

• R v Ali (Inner London CC, 2010) (led by Baroness Kennedy) concerning the criminalisation of communities implicated in terrorism.
